Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Sage platform ("Platform"), operated by Sage Clinics Pty Ltd (ABN pending), trading as "Sage", you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Description of Services

Sage provides an online telehealth platform connecting patients with AHPRA-registered clinicians who specialise in menopause care. Our services include:

• Online health intake questionnaires
• Video consultations with qualified clinicians via Coviu
• Electronic prescriptions for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and related medications
• Coordination with accredited pharmacy partners for medication dispensing and delivery
• Ongoing care management and follow-up consultations

3. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be an Australian resident with a valid Australian address
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration and health assessments
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

4. Medical Disclaimers

The information provided on the Platform is for general informational purposes and does not constitute medical advice until you are engaged in a formal consultation with one of our clinicians.

Sage is not an emergency medical service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 000 immediately. Our clinicians exercise independent clinical judgement and may decline to prescribe if they determine it is not clinically appropriate.

Treatment outcomes vary between individuals. Sage does not guarantee any specific health outcomes from the use of our services.

5. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. The collection, use, and disclosure of your personal and health information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Payment Terms

Consultation fees are displayed prior to booking and are payable at the time of booking via Stripe. All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Medication costs are separate from consultation fees and are payable directly to our pharmacy partners upon dispensing.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel or reschedule a consultation at no charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur the full consultation fee.

Refunds are provided at our discretion for technical issues that prevent a consultation from taking place. No refunds are available for completed consultations.

8. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and health assessments
• Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us of any unauthorised access
• Use the Platform only for its intended purpose of accessing telehealth services
• Not misuse, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sage Clinics Pty Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law which cannot be lawfully excluded or limited.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, provide false information, or misuse the Platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@sageclinics.com.au.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
